Founded on the principles of structured linguistic literacy and backed by the latest research in the science of reading, our organization is dedicated to advancing literacy education from the ground up.

Our Mission

Our mission is to equip educators with highly explicit, systematic instruction for foundational skills such as decoding, spelling, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing. By focusing on prevention for younger students and intervention for older ones, along with equipping future educators through university collaborations, we tackle literacy challenges at every educational level.

We Strive for Literacy offers a comprehensive suite of services to address literacy challenges at every educational level. We focus on the five pillars of literacy education: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension —ensuring students receive the structured, evidence-based instruction they need to thrive. Our services range from in-depth training and ongoing professional development for educators and schools to direct support through community workshops, school-based tutoring, and university collaborations that equip future educators and support underserved students.
